How to Make a Pencil Case

   Find a bag or box that meets your choice of size.
   Find a bag or box that meets your choice of size. It doesn't have to be nice-looking, just sturdy and free of food crumbs.

   Decorate the container.
   Decorate the container. Try some or all of the following ideas:
   
   
   • Put on some cool stickers.
   • Your own artwork with markers (draw lines, squiggles, shapes, wavy lines, animals, people etc.);
   • A collage of magazine pictures;
   • Totally cover the box with wrapping paper; and
   • Glue on shells, buttons, beads, fabric or anything else you want to decorate your pencil case with. Add glitter or paint if you like.

   Line the box with tissue paper, if you don't like the inside color.
